Chair & Chief Executive Officer
Michael is a founding partner and the CEO of NorthStar. He’s a veteran technology executive and transformative leader with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the consumer, communications, gaming and technology industries. Previously, he served as CEO and Chairman at Panasonic North America, where he led the company’s successful business and growth strategy of delivering integrated technology solutions for businesses, government agencies, and consumers across North America. Michael has also served as President and CEO of XM Canada (XSR.TO) and President of Palm; Americas International. Michael sits on the Board of Directors for Hillcrest Energy Technologies (CSE:HEAT), a rising clean tech innovation and e-mobility development company. He also sits on the Executive Board of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA / CES), which represents the largest and most innovative technology companies in North America. He previously served as a Director of Mobilicity (Canada), Hussmann Corporation (USA) and Panasonic Avionics Corporation (USA).

Chief Financial Officer
Chin has held numerous executive positions across a wide variety of functions, including finance, compliance, risk management, and technology. His prior experience includes time with The Hunter Group, Azerty United Canada, Hydrogenics and, most recently, CAPREIT. Chin is a CPA with more than 25 years of proven experience impacting business growth and maximizing profits with his contributions in financial management and productivity improvements.

Goodman
Chief Development Officer, Head of Compliance, Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Corey has held a variety of senior executive roles for nearly 20 years in both legal and business development capacities. Most recently he served as Chief Corporate Development Officer at Torstar Corporation with a focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as partnerships in media, energy and regulated industries. He has also served as General Counsel to three public issuers.

Rydzik
VP, IT & Vendor Relations
Maureen has over 20 years of IT, program management and transformation leadership experience at leading Canadian media, telecommunications and IT services companies. Prior to joining NorthStar, Maureen led the implementation of the Toronto Star’s digital transformation and led the Client IT Services team within the Group Technology department.

Dante is a born and bred marketer, driven by curiosity, creativity, ambition and optimism. With 15 years of marketing expertise in the CPG and gaming industries, he’s known for leading transformational product and brand strategies. His work has been recognized with several gaming industry awards.

Dean is a tech and gaming entrepreneur who has had multiple start-ups acquired over the past decade. His ability to spot and capitalize on cultural and commercial trends has led to a career that spans the streaming industry, live and online gaming and financial services. Dean’s expertise includes product development, brand strategy and engineering customer experiences.

Mike has two decades of experience in Canadian sports media, and has held a variety of editorial leadership roles. His strengths are developing and leading successful multiplatform content teams and strategies. Previously, he was Managing Editor of The Athletic, Toronto and Managing Editor of sportsnet.ca

With 15 years experience leading all areas of HR and Office Services, Gorett’s strengths lie in her commitment to an organization and its people advocating for a culture of collaboration, trust, learning and camaraderie.
